Snow again!

We are having more snow in March than the rest of winter combined!  We woke up to about 6 inches this morning.  It will melt fast, but it is pretty now.  And it is also the reason we can’t get the Casita on the road yet.  We were thinking of taking off this afternoon.

Nodding trees.

A wee snowman, that would have been bigger if a certain grandson had been here to help!

We have a pond that is covered in wire fencing to keep the local heron from eating our fish.  Interesting that the cat is comfortable doing a balancing act.  She never does this when there is no snow.

This is going to be one side of our homemade travel sac.  I still need to put some borders on to get it to the correct dimensions.

This will be the flip side.  It is ready for quilting.  The mail-order backing arrived yesterday.

A close up.  The Mary Engelbrecht print had been in my stash for a long time.  Now it is time to get busy loading it on the quilting frame…..

    1. Hope you had a nice Easter, also. We are heading out tomorrow! Spent the day sanitizing the water system and packing up. The weather has been much improved the last few days.
